The Austcham Paddle Club (aka The Aussie Team) is an active dragon boat and outrigger canoe team, based in Singapore. We are a multi-national team and welcome anyone wanting to join us for fitness and fun on the water. If you are interested - come down for a trial paddle, meet some new people and have a drink afterwards.

Time has passed yet again for the much anticipated annual DIVA's race! The ladies actually paddle and the men.... well the 'men' perform in drag! For the first year ever the Aussie boys actually practiced a dance routine before the day! Hooray.... great job boys - you all look beautiful x

Congrats to the Aussie team for winning GOLD in the 200m Final and SILVER in the 500m Final for the International Community Mixed Category.

Thanks to all who helped out for the Outrigging Rookie Day at Tanjong Beach. A large group of newbies attended for 3 hours of fun, sun, paddling, races, BBQ and beers. The session even had a legitimate HULI (flipping the boat) in a race! Here's a few photos from the day:

Welcome back to 2012! The paddling year is off and running (well... paddling actually). It's time to put down the beers and rumballs and get back in to the swing of things. Outrigging sessions have already started - every Sunday 4pm at Tanjong Beach. And Dragon Boating kicks off from now on every Saturday 3.15pm (don't be late) at Kallang River. If you've always wanted to give Dragon Boating a try, we have a NEWBIES DAY on Saturday 21st January. So come along and meet new people, bring friends / colleagues / acquaintances and have some fun with the Aussie Paddle Club. All you need to do is arrive at 3.15pm to Kallang Riverside boat ramp and look for the aussie green and gold shirts. If you can't see us immediately, don't be shy, ask anyone you see and they'll point you in the right direction. Bring along water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and a change of clothes. See you all the water!
