The Austcham Paddle Club (aka The Aussie Team) is an active dragon boat and outrigger canoe team, based in Singapore. We are a multi-national team and welcome anyone wanting to join us for fitness and fun on the water. If you are interested - come down for a trial paddle, meet some new people and have a drink afterwards.

Hi Everyone... For the month of JULY, the normal dragonboat training sessions will now be moved down to SENTOSA ISLAND for Outrigging. Same time, just a new location. This is a great opportunity for everyone to try outrigging and begin some pre-training for the 10km dragonboat race at the end of August. When: Saturday 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th JULY Where: Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. (Just up the road from Tanjong Beach Club - look for the boat sheds) Time: Arrive no later than 3.15pm - DON'T BE LATE Bring: All the normal stuff: Water, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, clothes to get wet it, towel, change of clothes. There's storage for your bags and great showering facilities for after. The club provides all the boats and paddles you need Just to re-cap: DO NOT go to Kallang in July for Dragonboating - the sessions have been moved to Sentosa. Time has passed yet again for the much anticipated annual DIVA's race! The ladies actually paddle and the men.... well the 'men' perform in drag! For the first year ever the Aussie boys actually practiced a dance routine before the day! Hooray.... great job boys - you all look beautiful x

Thanks to all who helped out for the Outrigging Rookie Day at Tanjong Beach. A large group of newbies attended for 3 hours of fun, sun, paddling, races, BBQ and beers. The session even had a legitimate HULI (flipping the boat) in a race! Here's a few photos from the day:
